Compare a shared outing using the people who have confirmed, not an optimistic maximum group size.

Separate fixed transport costs from each person’s admission and keep a fallback if someone cancels.

Build the group budget

Start with confirmed participants and an agreed meeting point. Put shared transport, parking or a booked vehicle in one column and each person’s ticket and meal in another. A child’s ticket or a qualifying visitor’s rate may differ, so equal ticket costs should not be assumed.

The Mind Museum’s visitor page is one example where ticket categories and proof requirements matter. Use the actual venue’s current rules for your outing. This method does not establish a group discount or make one person’s eligibility transferable.

Test a smaller group

In an invented scenario, a shared return vehicle costs ₱2,400. Six paying participants contribute ₱400 each; four contribute ₱600 each. The vehicle price is illustrative, not a Manila transport quote. Compare the smaller confirmed group with individual travel costs before collecting money.

Ask which charges remain fixed if someone drops out and which tickets can be changed under their actual terms. Agree how an unrefundable shared cost would be handled before anyone books. Do not count a hoped-for refund as money already recovered.

Keep the return practical

Confirm the return pickup location, time and a contact method. Check seating and luggage capacity with the actual transport provider rather than assuming a quoted vehicle can take every additional friend. No one should be added beyond the vehicle’s permitted capacity to reduce the split.

Share a simple cost summary without publishing ticket QR codes or personal documents. A slightly less ambitious outing can be easier to organise and fairer to the group. We have not quoted a vehicle, booked tickets or verified any individual’s eligibility.
