Araneta City Halloween: ₱1,500 or ₱2,000 receipt for 31 October passes
Weekend / Halloween
The Rise of the Four Elements uses different receipt thresholds across four malls. Check the 11am–2pm claiming window and excluded receipts.
Araneta City’s 31 October 2026 Halloween celebration requires qualifying shopping receipts for event passes. The threshold is ₱1,500 at Gateway Mall 1, Ali Mall or Farmers Plaza, and ₱2,000 for Gateway Mall 2’s pass and costume-contest registration. These are spending thresholds, not standalone ticket prices.
Choose the claiming location first
The official mechanics specify a single receipt and an 11am–2pm claiming window at the first three malls’ Activity Areas, or Gateway Mall 2’s Quantum Skyview. Receipts must be original, carry a TIN and be dated 31 October. The SM Store, Puregold and Isetann are excluded; reprints, gift-certificate purchases, utility payments and specified service transactions are also ineligible. Check the complete exclusions in the source before shopping.
A receipt from the previous day will not meet that date condition. Plan the shopping and claiming sequence together rather than arriving after lunch with a receipt you cannot use.
Confirm the number of passes
The announcement first describes one pass, but later states a maximum of two per qualifying receipt regardless of spend. It does not clearly explain when the second is issued. Confirm that at the claiming desk before assuming one receipt covers two children.
For a household with three children, a higher receipt total should not be treated as a promise of three passes. Ask how separate eligible receipts are handled and whether capacity remains; we have not checked live allocations.
Budget for the outing, not the contest prize
Gateway Mall 2’s costume contest accepts ages 0–12 and closes registration at 2pm. Do not assume those contest ages establish the rules for every other activity.
If your planned eligible purchase is ₱1,200, reaching ₱1,500 means another ₱300 of spending. That is an illustrative household calculation, not a required add-on purchase. If the extra item is unnecessary, a different outing may fit the budget better. Costume supplies, transport and meals are additional costs, while a possible prize has no guaranteed value.
This mall event is separate from the nearby hotel offer covered in our Novotel Halloween availability update. A mall receipt does not establish admission to a hotel party or buffet.
Checked 30 October 2026 against Araneta City’s event mechanics. We have not submitted registration, claimed passes or verified remaining capacity. Follow the organiser’s current instructions before spending.
