October 27 fuel update: diesel up ₱1.20, gasoline down ₱0.30
Transport / Fuel prices
The reported Tuesday adjustment is mixed: diesel and kerosene rise while gasoline falls. See what the change means for a refill, without confusing it with a station’s pump price.
For Tuesday, 27 October 2026, Philippine news reports list diesel up ₱1.20 per litre, gasoline down ₱0.30 and kerosene up ₱0.50. These figures are price changes, not the final prices displayed at every station.
This week’s reported adjustment
- Diesel: +₱1.20 per litre.
- Gasoline: −₱0.30 per litre.
- Kerosene: +₱0.50 per litre.
NewsWatch Plus reported these figures on 26 October, listing matching announcements from Petron, Shell and Seaoil. Context.ph separately reported the same adjustments for Tuesday morning. We could not retrieve a current company advisory directly during this check, so the numbers here are attributed to those news reports, rather than presented as our own reading of an oil-company notice.
What changes in a refill?
At the reported adjustment, a 25-litre diesel purchase would cost ₱30 more than the same volume before the change, all else equal. A 25-litre gasoline purchase would cost ₱7.50 less. These are simple illustrations of the weekly difference; they do not quote a full tank price, assume your tank size, or predict next week.
To estimate your own change, multiply the litres you plan to buy by the per-litre adjustment. For the total bill, use the actual posted price for the grade you buy. A previous week’s city average is not a current quote from the station in front of you.
Check the station before changing your route
Confirm the effective time and posted pump price with your chosen retailer. This update does not assign one start time to every company or claim that all branches sell at the same price.
If you are considering a detour for cheaper fuel, compare the expected peso saving with the extra fuel and travel involved. Keep the comparison to the same fuel grade and the amount you actually need. A small rollback alone is not a reason to buy more than planned.
